In order to carry out the correct installation of the electrical module, you will need the following materials and tools:

  • screwdriver;
  • copper three-core wire + 1.2, or 3-core, depending on the number of switches in the block;
  • chisel;
  • hammer;
  • indicator screwdriver;
  • gypsum plaster;

Before carrying out electrical work, the electrical circuit that supplies current to is necessarily de-energized. To do this, the circuit breakers are turned off in the switchboard, and the wires at the place of work must be checked with an indicator screwdriver for the absence of phase current.

Before cutting a recess, markings are made directly on the wall. Installing a one-key block

Instruction:

  1. When carrying out installation work on the installation of a single-key device, 2 socket boxes are used, which have a design that allows them to be combined into one unit. The socket boxes are installed in a recess in the wall, a 3-wire wire is inserted from the side of the socket, and a 1-wire wire from the side of the switch.
  2. The socket boxes are fixed in the recess with a gypsum mortar.
  3. When the solution is completely dry, a 3-wire wire is connected to the socket. In this case, you should carefully consider the phasing of this wire and connect the ground to the appropriate terminal. The phase wire must be connected to one of the socket terminals and brought to the switch input. "Earth" is connected to the third free terminal of the socket.
  4. Switch output a single-core wire is connected, which will be directed to the lamp along the gate.
  5. After the wires are connected, it is necessary to install the inner part in the socket boxes and securely fix it in the inside of the socket boxes with the help of a screw sliding mechanism.
  6. Then the final stage of installation of such a device is carried out. A decorative plastic overlay is screwed to the inside with bolts. On the side of the switch, fastening is often carried out by means of a latch.

Installing a two-key block

When installing an electrical unit of this design, all work is carried out in the same way as the installation of a single-key device. Almost all two-key models do not require more space for installation and an additional socket.

All preparatory work described for the example of installing a single-key device applies to installing two-key modules. The phase wire is diverted from the common phase wire, and at the output of each switch one core is attached, which are then led to the lighting fixtures.

Installation of a three-key block

A three-key device is installed in a similar way, with the only difference being that the number of wires that will be directed from the switch to the lighting devices is 3.

  1. If the installation is carried out in a wooden house, then the installation of the combined unit must be carried out using a metal socket.
  2. By mounting such a module at the doorway, place it so that the switch is closer to the door than the socket.
