Full instructions: how to bring water from the well into the house?

Before you bring water from the well into the house, you need to draw up a clear action plan that involves several important steps. The work can be done by professionals or by hand. But before that, you need to familiarize yourself with the device and the features of conducting water.

The main element of the system that will supply water to the house from the well is the hydrophore pump. To avoid damage from temperature exposure, it must be installed in special water booths or directly at home.

True, they will make quite a lot of noise. It is important to take into account the fact that the hose from this type of pump must be placed at a slope, otherwise the device will wind up the air.

There are submersible pumps that go directly into the well. Their advantage is that they can supply water from a depth of 18 m, in contrast to the outdoor one, which will master a depth of 9 m. The disadvantage is the huge high cost of these devices. For artesian sources, downhole devices can be installed that get water from a depth of 100 m.

Each device must be accompanied by a technical passport, which indicates the purpose of the pump. However, all models of units are suitable for use at home. Much depends on the size and depth of the well, otherwise the pump will fail due to excessive or insufficient revolutions.

The list of necessary things that will be needed during the installation process includes the following items:

  1. Pipeline.
  2. Waterproof batteries.
  3. Check valve. This detail is needed so that the water flows in one direction and does not drain back into the well.
  4. Pressure switch, which is designed to control the required pressure in pipes. If the pressure is out of range, the relay automatically turns off the pump.
  5. Cable for heating pipes in winter.
  6. Threaded and crimp fittings.
  7. Filters for coarse and fine cleaning.
  8. Taps for draining and closing the flow.

First stage of work

First of all, you need to dig a trench for pipes 1.5 m deep. If the region is in a warm climate zone, 0.5 m will be enough. Together with the water supply, there will be an electric power cable for the structure.

At the same depth, using a perforator with a victorious tip, you need to make a hole in the wall of the well in order to push the continuation of the pipe there. As a rule, the diameter of the water pipe does not exceed 100 mm, the standard one is 32 mm. The cost of polypropylene conductors will average 36 rubles per 1 linear meter.

You should consider the place of installation of the pump house. The most successful location would be a cellar near a private house. In this case, the equipment will be isolated from noise, and underground conditions will not allow the pump to fail.

Second phase

After the hole in the well and the trench in the ground are ready, it is necessary to lay pipes in them. One end of the receiver must be inserted into the opening of the well and bent in the direction of the water. There should be a distance of 30 to 35 cm from the pipe to the bottom. It is recommended to fix the water supply to the walls of the well with clips and clamps.

Then, on that part of the pipe that will be transitional between the external water supply compartment and the well, you need to install an assembly of a strainer and a valve. If desired, you can purchase corrugated pipes with a built-in valve.

Third stage

This procedure is designed for greater heat resistance and for greater soil stability. You can insulate the well part of the pipes with the help of screeds made of cotton wool, foam rubber or foamed polyethylene.

Fourth stage

The next step involves the installation of equipment, that is, a pump. If it is intended to install an outdoor device, a solid surface is required for it, preferably made of concrete. Bolts must be installed in the floor at least 100 mm long, while 3 cm must stick out from the outside for fastening the bolts. It is also desirable to place rubber pads 3 mm thick under the pump.

The well pump, also known as a submersible pump, should be lowered to the bottom only with the help of a steel cable. It is necessary to inspect the bottom in advance, find the most stable position and put something heavy and hard under the apparatus. Any distortions and inclinations must be excluded in order to avoid breakages.

It is worth paying attention that this device cannot be pressed close to the wall of the well. The distance from the pump to the wall must be at least 20 mm. Given the fact that the pump is in the water, and there will be an electric cable at the bottom, you will have to drill another hole in the wall of the well. For reliable waterproofing, transition points should be strengthened with couplings.

The pump placed in the house is not much different from what is mounted in special booths. However, in home systems, you need to carefully monitor the water level in the storage tank.

In the event of a sharp drop in pressure, the device automatically switches off. To facilitate operation, it is recommended to install a receiver on the device. Sometimes these parts are sold complete with pumps. There is another way to stabilize - to install an eyeliner to each individual water point.

It is necessary to conduct water from a well to housing, taking into account several important factors. Not all of them can be written in the instructions, but they can greatly facilitate the operation of the system. The choice of a device for supplying water must be carried out taking into account the distance from home: the longer the distance, the more powerful the device should be.

When installing a pipe inside a well, it should be noted that 4 m of horizontal water supply equals 1 m of vertical. When laying pipes, it is necessary to understand when and for what purposes the water supply system from the well is equipped.

If you intend to use it in the country, you can place pipes on the ground. In this case, they can be emptied and left for the winter, the frost will not spoil them. It is necessary to bury the water supply in the ground in conditions of frequent use in private homes.

The number of connection points should not be ignored. All of them must be from the same manufacturer, otherwise the incompatibility of the devices may lead to the fact that the water will not reach the middle of the well pipe.

Such simple rules and recommendations will help you quickly and easily lay the pipeline. Working strictly step by step, using high-quality materials, the master will be able to lay a pipeline that will be successfully operated for more than 1 year.
