With a well, everything is easier. It is not difficult to clean it out. And most importantly, many already simply have wells.

Depending on the specific tasks, there are at least two options for home water supply:

  • temporary, used for summer stay in the house, including watering;
  • stationary option, involving the use of water in conditions of permanent residence.

How to conduct a water supply from a well to a house

In order to conduct water supply to the house, it is better to immediately use the stationary option. It is more reliable and efficient. And as a temporary solution, you can organize a country water supply from a well.

First of all, you need to decide on the following parameters:

  • what is the expected average water consumption;
  • what is the height of the rise of water from the well to the top of the system.

At the same time, do not forget that 10 m of a horizontal pipe is equal to 1 m of its rise. When calculating, you need to make a stock. We take into account that the pressure in the system should not be less than 2.5 kg / cm2. Otherwise, there will be insufficient water pressure at the outlet.

Based on the numbers obtained, we select a submersible pump. It is quite possible that in case of insufficient water pressure in the system, it will be necessary to additionally install a water pumping station. That is, the first pump will raise water from the well, while the station will create the required pressure. But not everything is so scary. The use of a station together with a pump is a rather rare case.

Water supply scheme from a well in the country

We draw a sketch of the water supply system, taking into account all consumers, the level of laying the supply pipe, the point of its entry into the room, the location of all elements of the system. We decide on what material we will make the pipeline from. According to the sketch and data on water consumption, separately common and for each consumer, as well as how many and what devices, fittings, fasteners and materials are required.

The use of a stationary version of the water supply system involves, firstly, the use of a submersible pump. Of the two options for submersible pumps: vibration and centrifugal, it is better to use a centrifugal one. It has great performance, works quietly, does not create vibrations that cause flooding of the well.

  • The submersible pump does not require its insulation for the winter, as well as preliminary injection of water into the supply pipe. However, in severe frosts, even if a submersible pump is used, the well itself will have to be insulated. This is usually done with snow.
  • The pump is located not lower than 0.8 m from the bottom of the well. A bottom filter is installed on the pump. A hose is used to supply water upward. The horizontal section of the approach is carried out 20 cm below the freezing point of the soil. The entrance directly to the premises is done, as a rule, under the foundation.

  • To save the submersible pump from frequent switching on and off, as well as to have a supply of water, an expansion tank with a capacity of up to 500 liters is installed in the building. Using a conventional float system, the upper and lower levels of the pump on and off are controlled. The tank is equipped with an overflow system in case of failure of the pump motor shutdown.
  • If there is a need to maintain a standard pressure in the system (2.5-6.0 bar), you will have to purchase and install a pumping station. Otherwise, the expansion tank of the submersible pump would have to be raised to a height of at least 25 m. True, in this case, the winter water supply from the well becomes more complicated. The following is added to the circuit: one more pump and a receiver. The presence of the receiver, in addition, makes it possible to avoid sudden pressure drops when switching on or off consumption devices. In case of failure of the station or loss of light, a bypass is installed parallel to the pumping station.
